RAIA: Chandor Club defeated Navelim Sporting Club 3-1 to enter into the final of the Lourdes Soccer inter-village football tournament organised by Ambelim SC at Ambelim ground.
Prestly Gomes of Navelim SC opened the scoreline in the 8th minute but the joy was short-lived as Shafik equalised for Chandor in the 28th minute.
As the match progressed in the second half Sheldon Piexitto netted the second goal for Chandor Club in the 48 th minute.
Silidon Piexitto further inflated the lead in the 60th minute for Chandor Club.
Silidon Piexitto of Chandor Club was presented the man-of-the-match award.
Chandor Club will meet Carmona SC in the final on February 11.
