Chubby Cheeks HS clinch U-14 Bardez title

MAPUSA: Chubby Cheeks HS, Pilerne, managed to register a hard fought 2-1 over St Thomas HS, Aldona, in the final of the U-14 Girls Bardez taluka football tournament, organised by Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, at Peddem ground.

Sanjana Parwar scored for St Thomas school while Prachi Naik netted a brace for Chubby Cheeks.

St Thomas tried to find the equaliser but the Pilerne defence stood strong.
