RUMDAMOL: Danvodem Veterans shot-out Chinchinim Veterans 6-5 via the tie-breaker and moved into the final of the
1st Rehan Muzawar Cup, organised by Sporting Club De Rumdamol, at Rumdamol football ground, on Saturday.
Chinchinim Veterans opened the score-line through Urban Fernandes in the 22nd minute but it didn't take long for Chinchinim Veterans to equalise as Francis Colaco equalised in the 24th minute.
Later, in the second half, Chinchinim Veterans netted through Menino Fernandes and made it 2-1 in the 40th minute. Just three minutes left for the final whistle, Krishna Shirodkar levelled terms for Danvodem Veterans.
In the tie-breaker, Danvodem Veterans proved to be better shooters.
