CHINCHINIM: Dramapur Boys got the better of Baida Youth 5-3 via the tie-breaker to move into the next round of the Jumbo Chik Chik Memorial inter-ward football tournament, organised by Friends Circle, at Our Lady of Hope Church ground, Chinchinim, on Saturday.
In the second minute, Dramapur’s Johan took a long range shot but failed to pop up into Baida net.
As the match progressed, in the 15th minute, Baida’s Heston dribbled past the Dramapur defenders and shot from close range but the rival goalkeeper was equal to the task.
Heston opened the score-line for Baida Youth with the placement shot in the 25th minute, but the joy was short lived as Johan equalised for Dramapur Boys in the 39th minute with a curling effort.
In the tie-breaker, Dramapur Boys netted through Johan, Franky, Terrance and Vicky while Rosario and Heston scored for Baida Youth.
