Ferrari Boys lift Sereno Cardozo Memorial trophy
ILLEANT-BENAULIM: Ferrari Boys, Varca defeated Real Benaulim 5-4 via the tie-breaker to lift the 13th Sereno Cardozo Memorial trophy organised by Best Friends of Illeant Benaulim, at Illeant ground, Benaulim on Sunday.
The full time score remained goalless. In the tie-breaker Ferrari Boys Varca netted through Aaron, Bapan, Tenyson, Clavis and Mohammad while Lloyd, Ramiro, Agnelo and Rizwan scored for Real Benaulim.
The winners were awarded Rs 20,000 while the runners up collected Rs 15,000.
David Fernandes, panch of Benaulim was the chief guest and gave away the prizes to winners and runners up in the presence of Raul Cardozo and other dignitaries.
