CUMBORDA, CURTORIM: Unjirim United beat Cumborda Sports Club by 1-0 in the 4th Cumborda Sports Club football tournament organised by Cumborda Sports Club, at St. Alex Church ground, Curtorim on Friday.
Unjirim United took the lead in the 15th min through Floyd. Cumborda Sports Club almost got equaliser but Joslan well struck shot was saved by Unjirim United goalkeeper.
Post redemption Cumborda tried hard to find equaliser but Unjirim defence stood like rock and didn't allow Cumborda striker Mackson and Veron to find the net.
Floyd’s sole goal was enough to make Unjirim United winners of this match. The Man of Match was awarded to Amistron of Cumborda Sports Club.
