RAIA/MAPUSA: Fr Agnelo YSC, Paroda, defeated UC Telaulim 10-2 in the GFA’s 2nd Division League football match played at Don Bosco Oratory ground, Fatorda, on Tuesday. Jaison Fernandes scored 4, Clifton Fernandes & Sladen Fernandes scored a hat-trick each for Fr Agnelo YSC while Shane Alfonso scored a brace for UC Telaulim.
At Poriat ground, Goan Warriors FC played their hearts out to register a 5-1 win over YSC Colvale.
The teams went into the breather locked in a 1-1 draw. Charnel Fernandes opened the account for Goan Warriors in 33rd minute with Roger Miranda netting the equaliser for YSC Colvale.
On crossing over Anthony Fernandes Hurtvik Paryekar, Elliot Fernandes and Vaibhav Naik pumped in three more goals to give full points for Goan Warriors.
At Sirsaim ground, Vagator PYSC drubbed Assonora United FC by 4-0 margin.
Vellington Almeida netted a brace, with Chandrakant and Regan Costa adding two more goals for the win.
