Gaurs sign Jackichand; Pronay to join ATK

PANJIM: The Gaurs have roped in the Kerala Blasters winger Jackichand Singh for the next two season while they have let go Pronay Halder to ATK.

Jackichand made 17 appearances for Kerala Blasters in the 2017-18 ISL season where he scored twice, including one against Sergio Lobera’s side.

According to a website, the former I-League Player of the Year award winner would earn Rs 1.9 crores for the two-year deal.

Meanwhile, The Kolkata-based franchise has secured the services of FC Goa defensive midfielder Pronay Halder and Mohun Bagan’s Ricky Lallawmawma and the contracts have been dated on 1 June 2018. 

While the Gaurs have done impeccably well this season to qualify for the knockoffs, Halder could only garner a total game time of 429 minutes. The former Indian Arrows footballer, who is a highly rated defensive midfielder, will thus be keen to get more chances at his new franchise and aim to find his rhythm back.
