Goa’s Sanjana in Indian junior swimming squad for South Africa tour

PANJIM: Goan Swimmer Sanjana Prabhugaonker made it to the Indian junior swimming squad for a high performance camp which will involve a joint training exposure with swimmers in South Africa and will also participate in the South African National Aquatic Championship in April.

Swimming Federation of India in association with South Africa Swimming with the support from Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Government of India has initiated this training programme  from March 17 to April 17 at Johannesburg, South Africa. 

At the end of the training program, Indian junior swimming squad will be participating in Open National Swimming Championship at Port Elizabeth, South Africa on April 22. 

Sanjana Prabhugaonker, is currently undergoing professional training in ANSA – Aqua Nation Sports Academy at Swiss international Scientific school in Dubai UAE   under the guidance of Coach Pradeep Kumar. 

The 16-member Indian Junior Squad includes six boys and eight girls in the age group of 15-17 across India and are accompanied by Indian coaches Majumder Partha Pratim and Arithial Candoth Jayarajan.
