Present for the final were Goa Rehabilitation Board Chairman and Cumbarjua MLA Rajesh Faldessai, Aldona MLA Carlos Alvares Ferreira and other dignitaries.

Being physically fit and remaining active are important for a person’s health, said Goa Rehabilitation Board Chairman and Cumbarjua MLA Rajesh Faldessai.

In his address, Faldessai emphasised on being physically active. “A person must remain physically fit, exercise and play sports. This is very important. In my constituency, I am primarily focussing on health, sports and education. This is very important,” he said.

Ferreira congratulated the organisers and both the teams for making it to the final. “I remember during my childhood days we used to go to watch volleyball tournaments. Teams like Customs, Goa Police and Crown Club Santa Cruz. Sports is something you need practice, you can’t just get up and start running and playing. It requires practice, discipline and consistency,” he said.
