MARGAO: Manjunath Tangadagi, General Secretary of Kickboxing Association of India has been suspended from the post of Indian Association of Kickboxing Organisation representative for Goa besides being served a show cause notice.

He has been asked to give reasons within seven days on why he should not be terminated from the IAKO.

Manjunath Tangadagi got in trouble as two hotels in Margao refused to allow the students participating in the National Kickboxing championship that was held in Margao and Margao Police had to intervene to ensure that the students could go home.

While Manjunath claimed that the IAKO did not pay the Rs. 1,000 per participant towards the lodging and boarding expenses, Pradeep Shinde the Secretary General of Indian Association of Kickboxing Organisation said the money was paid.
