MASHEM: Darpan Pagi’s unbeaten knock of 105 runs helped KB Vidyalaya beat Damodar HS by 105 runs to reach the final of the U-14 President Cup inter-school cricket tournament organised by Goa Cricket Association, at Nirakar Sports Complex, Mashem.

After winning the toss, KB Vidyalaya decided to bat and scored 174 runs for the loss of three wickets in their alotted 20 overs. 

Darpan Pagi scored 105 runs with 15 boundaries and a six. Shivnath Naik and Atharv Devidas reached11 runs each. 

Damodar HS gave away 41 extra runs. Pratap Naik of Damodar HS picked up two wickets while Shreyash Pagi picked another.

In reply, Damodar HS were bundled out  for 69 runs in 17.4 overs.

 Only Shreyash Pagi (13) and Pratap Naik (11) scored double figures. 

Darpan Pagi and Atharv Desai scalped three wickets each. Vinamra Dhuri picked  up two while Rohit Desai picked a wicket.

The second semi-final will be played between Tudal HS and St. Sebastian HS on February 21.
