MAJORDA: Kaykee Youth Club, Dongorim, Majorda edged past Durgadevi Youth Club, Subdolem, 3-2 to win the Friendship Cup organised by kaykee Youth Club in collaboration with Nehru Yuvu Kendra (South) Margao, on Sunday. 

 Stavro Bello helped Kaykee take the lead in the 6th minute of the game. Durgadevi YC came close to equalising in the 30th minute but Keegan the goalkeeper came up with a smart save. During the second half, Durgadevi YC put  a lot of pressureon the opponent. 

Kavin Almeida and Navin Mendes combined well for Kaykee boys and added two more goals to the score sheet as the final score read  3-2.

Beside winners and runners–up prizes, the following prizes were awarded: Best player of the finals- Vishant Goankar, Most promising player-Sohil Anwar, Upcoming player-Sushant Gaonkar.

The chief guest for the finals was A Freddy Dias, Principal of Agnel Polytechnic School, Verna, while Pramod Pilenkar, NYK Officer was the guest of honour.
