Kelisha Warriors emerge victorious in 5-a-side futsal

PANJIM: Kelisha Warriors emerged champions of the 1st all Goa 5-a-side futsal tournament, organised by Lotus FC at Royal Arena, Betalbatim, on Sunday.

Kelisha Warriors defeated Voody Boys 3-2 in the penalty shootout after playing a thrilling 3-3 draw in the regulation time.

Voody Boys led 3-0 at the break. However, Kelisha Warriors came back strongly in the second half and scored thrice through Allan, Mathew and Sheldon taking the game in the penalty shootout. In the penalty shootout, Kelisha Warriors proved victorious. Mathew, Allan and Lucky were on target for the winners.

Earlier, in the semifinals, Kelisha Warriors defeated Ritu Boys 7-2.
