PANJIM: Besides the National title fight in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA), there will be another event as part of World Kickboxing Organisation (WKO) K1 Heavyweight West Zone (inter-state) between local Goan fighter Mahabaleshwar 'Mablu The Beast' Toraskar of Tribal Warriors and Mumbai's Zaid Shaikh of Team Vipers 15 on May 20 at Tribal.Warriors Gym, inside Artjuna Cafe, Anjuna, according to the organisers.
Toraskar, who is also the reigning Goa State K1 Champion, will take on Shaikh, who outweighs him by 20kg. Both fighters are confident that they will be able to win the coveted title.
Apart from the much-awaited title fight, the event will also host several other bouts featuring local fighters of different levels, showcasing the immense talent that Goa has to offer in the realm of Mixed Martial Arts.
