RAIA: Guirdolim Club humbled Carmona SC 3-0 in the final of 32nd St Rock Super Soccer Calata-Majorda in memory of Sebastiao Cirilio Dias, at Calata ground, Majorda, recently.
Guirdolim Club opened the scoreline through Moses D’Sa in the 17th minute.
As the match progressed in the second half, Carmona SC’s Christburn Estibeiro missed a chance to score in the 50th minute.
Guirdolim Club further inflated the lead through Moses in the 55th minute. It was again Moses club who netted his hat-trick in the 66th minute.
Vice-President of Goa Football Association North Goa Jonathan D’Souza was the chief guest and gave away the prizes to the winners and runners-up in the presence of Nelly Rodrigues, former Zilla Panchayat member; Walter Cabral, principal of Fr Basilio Andrade High School, Majorda; Oscar Gonsalves, GFA Senior Vice-President Anthony Pango, football promoter Andrew Ferrao, GFA executive committee members, club officials and other dignitaries.
