At halftime Nerul led 1-0.
Sankit Jotkar put Nerul into the lead in the 20th minute when he gave finishing touches to Russel Fernandes pass.
Changing over, Sankit netted in the second goal for Nerul on being set up by Anson D’Souza.
On Wednesday, Chandor Sports Club scored a convincing 4-1 win over Milagres Sports Club in the inaugural match.
