RAIA: Novowaddo edged past Corjuem 2-1 to move into the next round of Paldem Sports Cub inter-ward football tournament played at St Alex Church ground, Curtorim, on Friday.
Novowaddo opened the scoreline through Frazier in the 8th minute but the joy was short-lived as Corjuem equalised through Sidney in the 10th minute. Novowaddo netted the match winner through Cajie in the 29th minute. On Thursday, Damdolem SC edged past Bhati SC 3-2 to move into the next round. Vicky Cardozo netted a hat-trick for Damdolem while Meevan Dias and Mackroy Pixeto netted a goal each for Bhati.
