Our Lady of Health HS storm into quarters
CHINCHINIM: Our Lady of Health High School, Cuncolim defeated Our Lady of Rosary's High School, Fatorda 6-0 to enter the quarter-finals of St Joseph Vaz Cup 2015-16, organised by Mount Mary's High School and Higher Secondary School, at Chinchinim church ground, on Friday.
CHINCHINIM: Our Lady of Health High School, Cuncolim defeated Our Lady of Rosary's High School, Fatorda 6-0 to enter the quarter-finals of St Joseph Vaz Cup 2015-16, organised by Mount Mary's High School and Higher Secondary School, at Chinchinim church ground, on Friday.
Our Lady of Health HS started raiding the opponents citadel right from the start. They opened their account through Alister Fernandes when his long ranger dip into the back of the rival nets in the 8th minute. Soon, Our Lady of Health HS scored their second goal from a set piece in the 12th minute. Arlito Fernandes headed home from a free kick taken by Roslon Fernandes making it 2-0 in favour of Our Lady of Health HS.
Our Lady of Health HS continued to put pressure on the opponents and found their third goal in the 22nd minute as Saheel Shaikh slotted past the rival goalkeeper, making it 3-0.
At half time, Our Lady of Health High School led 3-0.
In the second half, Our Lady of Rosary's High School made two quick changes which stabilised their play. Saheel scored his brace as Our Lady of Health HS took their goal tally to four. Soon, they scored their 5th goal through Jaison Fernandes in the 50th minute. Ashwin Fernandes rounded up the tally scoring the sixth goal.
