Parish Youth Nuvem in last four of Gold Silver Trophy

NAVELIM: Parish Youth Nuvem got better of Young Strikers Benaulim 6-5 via the tiebreaker to move into the quarter final of the Gold Silver Rolling Trophy at Our Lady of Rosary Church ground, Navelim.

Benaulim shot into the lead in 5th minute through Joswah Cardoso.

Nuvem controlled the game and raided Benaulim defence in the 17th minute but Young Strikers keeper made brilliant save. Schubert Borges equalised for Parish Youth, Nuvem in the 23rd minute.

Play was mostly restricted in the midfield in the second half as both teams adopted a defensive attitude.

In the penalty-shootout to decide the result Young Strikers, Benaulim in the shootout Richard, Aloysius, Sanford, Joerose and Francis converted for Parish Youth, Nuvem while and only Osbourne, Selver, Keegan, Claudsen netted for Young Strikers.
