MAPUSA: Pilerne SC drubbed Sinquerim SC by 6 -1 to advance ahead in the 14th All Goa late Pio Jose Goveia Memorial inter village tournament 2022, organised by Youth Club of Colvale, at Colvale church ground, on Friday.
In the first minute, Pilerne took the lead through Anron Pereira who scored from a solo effort.
In the 21st minute, Krish Naroji equalised for Sinquerim off a neat tap into the goal to level terms.
On crossing ends, Pilerne were a transformed unit and hammered five goals in the 36th, 38th, 40th, 50th and 55th minutes through Sanket Jotkar(2) Aniket Naik, Anson Pereira and Anson D'Souza respectively.
The man-of-the-match was awarded to Sanket Jotkar of Pilerne SC.
