DEUSSUA-CHINCHINIM: Regina Martyrum High School, Assolna got the better of Bethany Convent High School, Sao Jose de Areal 3-1 to move into the quarter-finals of the St JosephVaz soccer cup, organised by Mount Mary’s Educational Complex, Chinchinim, at Our Lady of Hope Church ground, Chinchinim on Monday. 

Regina’s Joaen Simoes netted the first goal of the tournament with a placement shot. 

Two minutes later, Joaen netted his second for Regina. 

Thereafter, Amresh Parwar made it 3-0 for Regina in the 24th minute.

In the second half, Bethany pulled a goal back through Aron Andrew in the 49th minute.

In another match, Auxilium High School, Benaulim defeated Our Lady of Health High School, Cuncolim 2-1 to move into the quarter-finals.
