NAVELIM: Reliance Foundation Young Champs defeated Bangalore Youth Football League 5-3 via the tie-breaker to move into the final of the Hero U-13 India Youth League organised by AIFF, at Rosary ground, Navelim, on Monday.

It didn’t take long for Reliance Foundation to score as striker Yanglem Sanatomba Singh took a long range shot to open the account in the ninth minute. 

As the match progressed, in the second half, Reliance striker Harsh Palande doubled the account in the 68th minute. 

A minute later, Bangalore striker Dhanjay Darji netted two quick goals in the 69th and 71st minutes to level terms.

In the resultant tie-breaker, Reliance Foundation netted through Supratim Das, Narendra Naik and Yanglem Sanatomba Singh,while only Viraj Arora scored for Bangalore Youth Football League.

In the second match, Bengaluru Football Club edged past Sudeva Football Club 2-1. 

Midfielder Hiti Seb netted the opening goal for Sudeva FC in the sixth minute. 

Later in the 38th minute, defender Vinith Venkatesh equalised for Bengaluru FC.

In the second half, defender Chandan Biju netted the match winner for Bengaluru FC.
