Rossman Cruz hit Cana Benaulim for a tennis score
NAGOA: Rossman Cruz Nagoa Verna blanked Cana Benaulim 6-0 to move into the quarter-finals of the Nagoa Village Panchayat Cup football tournament organised by Rossman Cruz Sports Club, Nagoa, played at village panchayat ground, Nagoa, on Tuesday.
Both halves were dominated by Rossman Cruz and netted six quick goals which came from the boots of Hilton Fernandes in the 13th minute to open the account within three minutes. Savio Fernandes netted the second after that Minhilton Fernandes made it 3-0.
After seven minutes, Savio Fernandes scored his brace to make it 4-0. In the last quarter of the match, Wilson Fernandes and Renoy Fernandes netted a goal each and made it 6-0 for Rossman.
Benaulim tried to score but their strikers lacked sharpness.
