PANJIM: Salcete Football Club U-15 team won the Goa Football Association South District Division II League champions with an all-win record.
They won all their four matches and collected 12 points. Spearheaded by their talented striker Josely Gomes, Salcete FC scored 30 goals and conceded only two.
Josely contributed 18 goals to this impressive tally.
Salcete Salcete Football Club U-15 team will meet the runners-up of North District GFA U-15 tournament Dunes Sports Club on May 6, at the Rosary church ground, Navelim, at 5.30 pm.
The North District winners Don Bosco Oratory will meet South District runners-up Sirlim SC in the other semi-final at the same venue, at 4.15 pm.
