MARGAO: Salgaocar Football Club continued their impressive run in the Goa Football Association U-14 League following their commanding 4-0 win over Verna Cultural & Sports Association at Cansaulim ground, on Tuesday.

The third goal came within three minutes when Ashony Gomes played a perfect cross in the box, which was brilliantly met by Yash Pawar to make it 3-0 as the Vasco-based team enjoyed a three-goal cushion at the break.

Crossing over, Salgaocar FC kept more of the possession and rolled the ball across the pitch. They finally scored the fourth goal in the dying minutes of the game when Ashony Gomes connected to Mazaltove Rodrigues cross to make it 4-0.

Meanwhile, Cortalim Gymkhana ran riot over Baina Sports Club with a 14-1 win at Velsao ground.
