CANSAULIM: Salgaocar Football Club scored a hard-fought 2-1 win over Benfica Youth Club in the Goa Football Association U-14 League match played at Cansaulim ground, on Thursday.

Benfica YC took the lead in the 20th minute through Areen Fernandes. But Salgaocar FC scored the leveller in the 23rd minute when Salvador Gama’s shot deflected Nihal Gama Shaikh and went into the goal. Prasad Shinde scored from a 30-yard strike to make it 2-1. Salgaocar FC led 2-1 at the breather.
