PANJIM: Salgaocar SC prevailed over Churchill Brothers FC 2-1 in a Reliance Foundation Development League Regional Qualifier match at Guirim ground, today. The teams were level 1-1 at half time.
Salgaocar surged ahead in the 3rd minute through Mark Carvalho and Alent Colaco restored parity for Churchill in the 22nd minute.
Salgaocar were lucky to get the match-winner in fifth minute of added time through Beckham Dias.
