RAIA: St Joseph’s Educational Institute, Chandor, defeated St Rita’s High School, Maina, 3-0, to move into the next round of the 2nd all-Goa inter-school football tournament, organised by St Josephs Ex-students Association, Chandor, at Chandor Church ground, on Wednesday.
Farhan Sheikh gave the lead to St Josephs in the very 2nd minute of the match. At the time of the breather, St Josephs lead, 1-0.
Trinsly Menezes scored the 2nd goal whiel Casvino Fernandes scored the 3rd. Casvino Fernandes of St Josephs was declared the man-of-the-match presented by Peter Antao.
