St Xavier’s HS, Infant Jesus HS and Bethany Convent HS make progress

SANVORCOTTO-CUNCOLIM: St Xavier’s High School  of Velim, Infant Jesus High School  of Colva and Bethany Convent High School  of Sao Jose de Areal moved ahead in the U-17 Salcete Taluka inter-school Subroto Mukherjee football tournament played at Cuncolim School ground, at Cuncolim, on Tuesday.

St Xavier’s High School scrapped past AIM Salcete High School, Davorlim 8-0. 

Vickson Fernandes scored four, Rayzen Fernandes scored three while Jovan Fernandes added one goal to team’s tally. 

In the second match, Vashon Rodrigues and Felrich Crast scored a goal each in Infant Jesus High School of Colva’s 2-0 win over St Anthony’s High School of Majorda.

 In the last match of the day, Bethany Convent High School defeated Govt. High School of Davorlim by 3-0. Jayden Cardozo, Glen and Lloyd found the net for Bethany Convent HS.
