MAPUSA: Super Goans FC played their hearts out to register a hard fought 2-1 win over Dunes SC, Mandrem, to emerge Under-13 North District champions, at Duler stadium, here on Friday.
Super Goans took the lead in the 11th minute with Rahul Chawan scoring from inside the 18-yard box.
Dunes restored parity in the 36th minute through a clean placement by Romaldo Fernandes.
After much probing it was Rahul Chawan who kept his composure to score the winning goal and send his teammates and supporters into ruptures.
