PANJIM: Goa’s Tanisha Crasto along with her partner Ishaan Bhatnagar from Chhattisgarh emerged runners up in mixed doubles at the Scottish Open 2021 International Challenge Badminton Tournament, held at Glasgow, Scotland.
Tanisha / Ishaan defeated the eight seeded Scottish pair of Alexander Dunn and Scociara Torrance 21-14, 21-11 in the quarterfinals, followed by a 21-19, 21-14 win over Denmark's Jesper Toft / Denclara Graversen in the semifinals.
In the finals, the Indian pair, who are the reigning junior National champions, went down to fifth seeds, Callum Hemming / Jessica Pugh (England) with a 21-15, 21-17 score line to settle for silver.
