PERNEM: Vasco Veterans downed Candolim Veterans 2-1 in the Pernem Veterans football tournament played at Pernem ground, recently. 

Salvador Carvalho played a stellar role for Vasco Veterans which kept Candolim Veterans on their toes.

 Vishant Pednekar and Robin Pinheiro scored for Vasco Veterans while Bernandinho scored for Candolim through penalty shot. 

Candolim Veterans tried their best equalise but their opponents stood strong until the final whistle.

Vasco Veterans will now take on Morjim Veterans in  the semi-finals on September 10.
