PANJIM: Velsao SCC drubbed Clube Sao Minguel De Taleigao 4-0 in the Geno First Division League organised by Goa Football Association (GFA), played at Artificial Turf, Fatorda, on Friday.

The Velsao side took the game on an attacking note right from the word go. Savio Fernandes gave the side the lead at the half hour mark. 

In the second half, Oilex Oliveira's two quick goals shattered Taleigao's hopes of a comeback as he scored neatly in the 64th and 67th minute respectively.

He added another goal to his days tally in the 83rd minute as his side registered a clean win.

At Navelim ground, Cuncolim Union and United club Telaulim played out a hard fought 1-1 draw.

Sangam Gaunkar was the goal scorer for the Cuncolim side as he shot his team into the lead in the 8th minute itself while the Telaulim side came out with the equaliser soon.

Valmiki Miranda made it all square in the 15th minute. The second half failed to see any positive play as both sides cancelled out each other's chances resulting in the game ending 1-1.
