VASCO: Sporting Clube de Goa scored a solitary goal win over Calangute Association in the Goa Professional League match played at Tilak Maidan, here , on Tuesday.

Biswa Darjee scored the vital goal for Flaming Oranje, slotting home in the 29th minute. This win propels Sporting Clube de Goa to the third position in the GPL table with 43 points from 22 games played.

The encounter witnessed a strong start from both sides, with Calangute Association creating the first scoring opportunity. However, Sporting Clube custodian Abhimanyu Singh, continuing his recent heroics, denied Calangute Association’s Jovito Fernandes a goal.
