RAIA: Young Boys of Tonca defeated Nuvem SC 2-1 in a GFA First Division league match at Don Bosco Oratory ground, Fatorda on Friday.
Nuvem's Drawin Colaco should have netted in the very second minute itself but Ashok Bakka of Tonca cleared the ball to safety.
It was now the turn of Tonca but Gopi Gad's shot was cleared to safety by Niclau Colaco of Nuvem in the 5th minute.
A move by Sanket Jothan of Tonca yielded result as Sanket Jothan let go a power-packed shot which crushed into Nuvem net in the 25th minute.
As the match progressed in the second half, Denvil Fernandes netted the second goal for Tonca in the 52nd minute. However, Azzoid Colaco pulled a goal back for Nuvem in the 68th minute.
