Angela to officiate in Bali

PANJIM: Goan Angela Rajan Naik has been appointed referee to officiate at 8th WTF World Taekwondo Poomsae Championship scheduled from October 31 to November 3, at Bali, Indonesia.
After bagging the gold medal at 6th National Taekwondo Poomsae Championship held at Imphal, Manipur recently, she qualified to represent India at Bali, but has opted to officiate the same, as her international participation grants in the world championship events she has earlier participated since 2009 are still pending and not released by the Sports Authority of Goa till date, says a press release.
She will be leaving for Bali on October 26 to attend the Referee Clinic, prior to the world championship.
