Candidates make a beeline to file nominations on the second last day of nominations
After witnessing a lean patch in filing of nomination from January 21, there was a big rush to file nominations by candidates on Thursday --the second last day of filing nominations, in both North and South Goa. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Health Minister Vishwajit Rane, Divya Rane, Janita Madkaikar of the BJP, Michael Lobo, Delilah Lobo, Carlos Almeida of the Congress, Valmiki Naik, Vishwajit K Rane of AAP, Kiran Kandolkar, and Churchill and Valanka Alemao of the TMC filed the nominations on Thursday.
