Congress protest excruciating traffic congestion from Goa Velha to Cortalim
The Congress party held a protest at Goa Velha to Cortalim traffic congestion site, to highlight the severe difficulties people have to face, on a daily basis on the route. The dire traffic situation has caused immense hardships to commuters. Many passengers have missed their flights from Dabolim airport, while others have to helplessly spend hours in traffic. The very projects which were meant to ease traffic such as the four lane highway and the 8 lane Zuari bridge are now causing inconvenience to the people.
