Luizinho Faleiro takes oath in Rajya Sabha in Konkani
TMC Vice President Luizinho Faleiro took the oath in Rajya Sabha on the first day of the Parliament’s Winter Session on 29th November. Attired in a black Nehru suit, Faleiro took the oath in Konkani. Former Goa chief minister Luizinho Faleiro was elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha from West Bengal on 22nd November, becoming the first person from Goa to become a TMC MP. In his maid speech in Parliament, Faleiro is likely to raise contentious issues pertaining to coal pollution, diversion of Madhei waters and destruction of Mollem forest with the three linear projects.
