Assault on local youth Edwin Coelho by PSI Stanley Gomes has resulted bringing the entire Navelim Village out in protest demanding action against the PSI. On Sunday, Locals from Navelim came out and demanded justice for Edwin Coelho, presently PSI Stanley Gomes has been suspended but stull free, now the locals demand that he should be terminated immediately. Herald TV also spoke to the family members of Edwin Coelho, parents of Edwin said this act is completely unacceptable today the once who have to protect us (police) are assaulting us, he should be terminated immediate, they added.
