Vasco BJP Mandal under the leadership of Uban Development Minister Milind Naik on Friday on the occasion of Akshay Tritiya and Eid Festivals launched an ambulance service that will help the people of Mormugao Constituency
The ambulance was launched at the hands of Mormugao BJP Mandal President Sanjay Satardekar in the presence of councillors of the Mormugao constituency
Vasco BJP Mandal President Sanjay Satardekar said that the ambulance services will be catering to Mormugao Constituency
"There are a lot of people who are falling sick due to Covid and as a facility to the people of Mormugao Constituency. We will launch an ambulance for the people from ward no 1 to ward no 9 and people can approach their respective councillors or any of the BJP Mandal members if they need the ambulance " said Satardekar
" This Hospital will move people from their place to MPT Hospital, Chicalim Hospital, GMC or South Goa District hospital or any other place or shift back patients from these hospitals back home. We appeal the people not to indulge in politics and use the facility made available because this ambulance is available for all the residents of Mormugao Taluka . We appeal to the people stay home and stay safe and not roam outside unnecessarily so as to help the government fight the pandemic. " said Satardekar
Councillor Leo Rodrigues said that Urban Development Minister Milind Naik had been instrumental in inspecting the MPT hospital and arranging the oxygen quota required for the hospital while councillor Damodar Kaskar said that the ambulance also had the numbers of all councillors put up so that people could contact the councillors as and when they required the faculty
