PANJIM: In an effort to maintain a clean and healthy environment SID Allied Ventures has embarked on a state-wide campaign ‘We Litter, We Clean’.
The campaign aims to reach across 200 schools in Goa to educate children on waste management. In addition, SID Allied Ventures is also reaching out to the corporate industry, housing societies, govt, MLAs and Panchayats to offer waste management solutions which are cost effective and environmentally friendly. The technology is presently being effectively used in Denmark, Bulgaria and parts of India and will now be introduced in Goa.
Speaking to the media David de Souza Director of SID Allied Ventures said the State would not be able to be garbage free by 2020 and it was important for the government to look at initiatives. Combating the problems of pollution, SID Allied Ventures has developed a range of services and technologies which effectively manage waste while ensuring that we do not harm the environment. “We Litter, We Clean ‘It is a project initiated to save Goa, and its people. We would like to introduce Goa to several technologically advanced solutions which are environment friendly and non-polluting,” said David de Souza.
These solutions proposed by SID Allied Ventures include bio toilets, bio cleaning, hygiene and disinfection products, waterless urinals, automatic organic waste composters, kitchen waste shredders and agro waste shredders which are environmentally friendly, cost effective and provides eco-sustainability.
