Teran Fernandes
Originally from Raia, Teran Fernandes is a second year student of Computer Engineering at Don Bosco College Of Engineering, Fatorda, who was inspired at the age of 10 by Dutch DJ and record producer Martin Garrix. “I love playing with beats mixing songs especially commercial, Bollywood and Afro house genres of music,” says Teran, who immediately reads the crowd and plays the songs accordingly.
His success can be measured by his performances at various events and venues across Goa. He has played at private parties, campus shows at Chowgule College, Margao, Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, GEC College, Farmagudi at Happenings and at Rosary College, Navelim. He has also performed at resorts in South Goas as well as for Sao Joao Show for Un Production, Halloween party for Breakin a Sweat along DJ Skeletron and Christmas Gala 2024 for a Breakin a Sweat event.
Scott John Braganca (DJ Scott)
Merces-based Scott John Braganza is a first year Mass Communication and Journalism student at Don Bosco College, Panjim. He made his debut at a New Year Bash at Calangute in 2023. He has played for the biggest college fests including ‘K-oss’ by Dempo College, Bambolim, ‘Creations’ by Dhempe College, Panjim, ‘Happenings’ by Goa Engineering College (GEC), Farmagudi and ‘Aarambh’ by Government College, Khandola.
He also opened for the famous artistes like Lost Stories and Shameless Mani.
The official deejay for Goanbyblood band, he also does line production for Konkani rapper Bongisio. “I play drums to keep practicing timing as it helps me in my deejaying career. Creating an impact on the crowd is the best part of deejaying. I get satisfied looking at people dance to what and how I play,” says Scott.
Keegan Barreto
21-year old from Fatorda, Keegan Barreto was playing musical instruments like the violin, piano, guitar, harmonica, mandolin, ukulele, drums by the age of 8, and started producing his own music by the age of 12. Currently studying Electronics and Computers Engineering at Padre Conceicao College of Engineering (PCCE), Verna, Keegan absolutely loves how he can express so much using music. “What still attracts me to music is how it can make me feel better and cheer me up even on a chaotic day,” expresses Keegan.
He got the chance to compete in inter-college competitions, which he won, and even got the chance to perform at a club in Panjim. “I've headlined at PCCE’s cultural event ‘Mithya’, a launch event for a vehicle, birthday parties and corporate gigs. But the most recent and my biggest gig was headlining for Don Bosco Engineering College's cultural event, ‘Procyon’ last month,” informs Keegan.
Slavio Simoes Dias

Slavio Dias is a first year student of Arts at Parvatibai Chowgule College of Arts & Science, Gogol, Margao. Originally from Fatorda, Slavio's journey into music started at a young age, surrounded by the sounds of his parents' sound system business. Inspired by renowned artists like Avicii and Skrillex, dreaming of one day seeing millions dance to his music. "For me, it is never about ending up on TV but to watch millions of people dancing to my music," Slavio shared.
He honed his skills at a deejay academy and began performing at various parties and events across Goa. He has played at a wide range of events, from birthdays and weddings, New Year's Eve, Carnival, and sports and college events at Chowgule College as well as Rosary College, Navelim. With the guidance of DJ Steve, he built his confidence to perform in front of a crowd. Slavio says, “My goal is not just to go up on stage and play random music, it is to create an amazing environment with music and make sure everyone enjoys it and gets satisfied.”
Rohit Waghela (Edummy)
A student of music production at Future school of Performing Arts in partnership with Chowgule College, Margao, Rohit Waghela is a music producer, composer and deejay. He is a final year student in the three year course. He has performed at college festivals including Chowgule College’s Tathastu and the Culture Fest at The Design Village in Noida besides private shows. However, the feather in his cap was winning the 50 Hour Music Challenge by creating the gold track of the year in hip hop at Mumbai organised by Indian Film Project with the song, ‘Aaj Ek Din’. He teamed up with five Goan artistes which formed the group called Killoshi Clan.
From Ambaji, Fatorda, Rohit aspired to be an astronaut as a child but as a teenager once he met DVBBS, a Canadian production duo, things changed drastically. “After watching them deejay, I instantly had this fire ignited in me, I knew what I wanted to do. Couple of months later I got know more about this young producer called Martin Garrix and how he's traveling around the world doing gigs, that inspired me to be a producer. I also want to do the same for other youngsters, inspire them through my music,” says Rohit, who still feels like an astronaut in his deejay booth floating in space amongst tiny and bright lights similar to stars.
