Huge gaping pothotles flooded with rain water pose danger to commuters at the main junction to the road leading to Tarchi Bhat at Siolim.
The situation is so bad that it is difficult for motorists to judge and travel on the road. The area is highly accident prone and many two wheeler riders end up getting injured every day. The road was widened with much fanfare by demolishing compounds and cutting age old trees but today the whole area is in a super mess. Vehicles are forced to slow down, thereby causing chaos and confusion. Seems like neither the panchayat nor the PWD is concerned about the silent suffering of the public. If the authorities were so concerned about road widening, then why is the road in an abysmal state till today?
