A 15-year-old girl has accused her father of repeatedly raping her, which has led to her pregnancy, according to a police officer's statement on Monday.
The mother of the Class 8 student filed a First Information Report (FIR) at the Thakurdwara police station on Sunday, as reported by the officer.
The complaint claims that the girl's 50-year-old father, a contractor by profession, began sexually abusing her three months ago after he divorced her mother through triple talaq and forced her out of their home.
It is alleged that the father threatened to harm the girl's younger brother if she revealed the abuse to anyone, and he also prevented her from going to school.
On Saturday night, following another assault, the girl used her father's phone to contact her mother, informing her of the entire situation, including her pregnancy.
The mother stated that the man threatened to harm their son if she pursued legal action.
Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) Kunwar Akash Singh confirmed that the accused is currently evading capture and that the girl has been taken to a hospital for a medical examination.
