In a shocking incident in Bengaluru, a 32-year-old woman, Rekha, was fatally stabbed by her husband, Lohitashwa, in front of her 12-year-old daughter at a bus stand, police said.
According to authorities, the couple had been living together before marrying in a temple three months ago. Both Rekha and Lohitashwa were previously divorced; Rekha had two children from her first marriage.
The family had been residing in a rented house, with Rekha’s elder daughter living with them, while her younger daughter stayed with her parents. The motive behind the attack is under investigation, and police have taken Lohitashwa into custody.
