OpenAI has launched a new subscription tier called ChatGPT Go in India, priced at INR 399. The subscription offers users advanced features including 10x higher message limits, 10x more image generations, 10x more file uploads, and double the memory compared with the free version.
To make payments easier for Indian users, the subscription is UPI-enabled and all prices are displayed in INR. ChatGPT now offers four tiers in India: the free plan, ChatGPT Go at INR 399, Plus at INR 1,999, and Pro at INR 19,999.
Nick Turley, in a post on X, said the rollout aims to make ChatGPT more affordable for Indian users, adding that the company will gather feedback from India before expanding Go to other countries.
