Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Sunday launched a blistering attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling him a “very dangerous man” and urging his removal to safeguard citizens’ rights and the Constitution.

Addressing the Voter Adhikar Yatra rally in Sasaram, Bihar, Kharge criticised PM Modi for praising the RSS during his Independence Day speech at the Red Fort. He claimed that as long as the BJP remains in power, the votes, rights, and freedoms of the people are at risk.

“None of your people went to jail during the freedom struggle. They submitted applications to the British for jobs and pledged to stay with them. If PM Modi honours such people from the Red Fort, what would the souls of our freedom fighters say?” Kharge said.

He warned that under the BJP, the Constitution and citizens’ rights are under threat. “That’s why I say, this is a very dangerous man. Unless he is removed from power, your votes, rights, freedom, and even the Constitution will not remain safe,” he added.

Kharge also accused the Prime Minister of “stealing” votes, youths’ jobs, and farmers’ MSP, calling him a “thief” and stressing the need to remove him to protect democracy and public rights.
