Cyberabad Police, along with Telangana’s elite anti-narcotics unit EAGLE, busted a rave party at Rajeshwari Nilayam service apartments in Kondapur, seizing cocaine, ecstasy pills, and MDMA. Six people were taken into custody, including businessmen, a homemaker, a software engineer, and a student.
Madhapur DCP G. Vineeth said the accused included two peddlers, a transporter, and three consumers. The alleged mastermind, 28-year-old Teja, who runs a cloud kitchen, is accused of procuring cocaine from Rahul alias Sonu in Bengaluru, who remains absconding.
Others arrested were poultry businessman Vikram (peddler), homemaker Neelima (consumer), wine shop owner Prashanth Reddy (consumer), software engineer Bhargav (consumer), and 20-year-old student Chandan (transporter).
Investigations revealed that cocaine was smuggled disguised as “glutathione skin care injections” through DTDC courier. Police said Teja organised multiple parties in Hyderabad and even a New Year event in Goa.
Drug tests confirmed habitual use among the accused, with Teja and Neelima testing positive for multiple narcotics.
